TCH temporarily closed through the Wreckhouse area
Channel-Port aux Basque RCMP is advising that the Trans-Canada Highway is closed through the Wreckhouse area as crews work to remove a number of vehicles obstructing traffic. An update will be provided when the road has reopened.
Police caution all drivers in the Port aux Basques area that high winds, wet snow and ice are creating hazardous road conditions. Please slow down and drive with caution.
