Canada Post Media Advisory: Red delivery service alert issued for St. John’s Metro area
Canada Post has issued today red delivery service alert today for the St. John’s Metro area due to severe winter conditions. Canada Post also continues to maintain a yellow delivery service alert for Corner Brook due to unsafe road conditions and accessibility to addresses caused by severe winter conditions.
A red service alert means that we are suspending delivery for the day and not sending our delivery agents out or recalling them. Delivery will resume once conditions improve and it’s safe to do so.
An alert can be issued for a particular community or an entire province, depending on the weather event.
