K-9 Unit Helps RNC Catch Suspects After Flight From Police
Sunday night around 9:00pm, RNC attempted to conduct a traffic safety stop in CBS, but the driver failed to stop. The vehicle was later found abandoned in the Mount Pearl area. With the help of the K-9 unit, police located the occupants. A 35-year old man was arrested and charged with Assaulting a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest, Dangerous Operation, Flight From Police, and Breach of Probation. A 45-year old woman was also arrested and charged with Flight From Police, Dangerous Operation, and Breach of Release Order. Both were taken to lockup to be held for court.
