RNC Respond to Report of Suspicious Man With a Hammer Near MUN
Just after 3am this morning, RNC received a report of a suspicious man carrying a hammer in the area of Elizabeth Avenue and Memorial University. Once on the scene, police located and arrested the 33-year old man. He has been charged with assaulting a peace officer, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, two counts of threats, breach of probation, obstruction, and mischief. He was held to appear in court this morning.
