Assault Suspect Arrested After Having Police Called on him Twice Just Hours Apart
Sunday, January 4th shortly before 8:30pm, RNC were called to an assault in progress at a residence in the east end of St. John’s, but were unable to locate the suspect. Hours later, the female victim reported that the 38-year old suspect had entered the residence she was staying at in the west end of the city. Police responded and arrested the man. After an investigation, he was charged with Assault With a Weapon, Assault Causing Bodily Harm, Assault by Choking, and Uttering Threats to Cause Bodily Harm. He was held to appear in court this morning.
