Newfoundland Regiment acquires goaltender Louis-Antoine Denault
The Newfoundland Regiment Hockey Club announced the acquisition of goaltender Louis-Antoine Denault from the Quebec Remparts.
The acquisition is in exchange for a second-round draft pick in 2026 and a third-round draft pick in 2028.
Denault, a 19-year-old from Quebec City, Quebec, posted a .902 save percentage in 41 games with the Ramparts during the 2024-25 season. Denault joined the hockey club on the road for practice on the 27th.
The first Regiment home games of the year are slated for January 3 and 4 at Mary Brown’s Centre against the Gatineau Olympiques.
