Rush-hour collision causes traffic delays in west end of St. John’s
A three-vehicle collision caused traffic delays on a busy thoroughfare in the west end of St. John’s on Monday evening.
Shortly before 5:00 p.m. emergency crews were called to Blackmarsh Road, near Frecker Drive, following the collision. The three-vehicle rear-end collision caused extensive damage to an SUV and a sedan. The third vehicle involved sustained moderate damage and was able to be driven from the scene.
Paramedics assessed the occupants of all three vehicles, however there were no injuries reported.
Traffic on Blackmarsh Road was either blocked or reduced to one lane for a time, causing traffic delays on nearby roads.
