Another telephone scam targeting seniors
There is another telephone scam making the rounds in this province.
Residents are reminded that officials from the provincial government would never request personal banking information in exchange for money, which is the basis of the current scam.
If anyone receives such a call, they are asked to immediately hang up on the caller and not provide any personal information.
Anyone who receives such a call should contact the RNC or the RCMP.
