Tories promise to strengthen wildfire preparedness in pre-election campaign stop
PC Leader Tony Wakeham was in Carbonear today for a campaign-style announcement. In the wake of the recent evacuations, he’s promising a tory government will strengthen wildfire preparedness. He estimates the cost of his plan at $7 million, not including the cost of the water bomber.
