RNC Investigating Shooting in Paradise
The RNC is investigating a shooting that occurred in the town of Paradise over the weekend.
Police responded to a commercial area on the corner of Carlisle Drive and Topsail Road just after 2 a.m. on Sunday, where they determined a number of shots had been fired. A suspect vehicle fled the area before police arrived. There were no injuries; however, there was damage reported to multiple vehicles and one business.
This is believed to be a targeted event.
The suspect vehicle, a black Ford Edge, was recovered abandoned in downtown St. John’s around 5:30 a.m. on Monday.
