Man arrested for theft on George Street
On Monday evening the RNC responded to a call of theft of liquor at a bar on George Street.
A 44-year-old male had taken a bottle of alcohol from the bar and then threatened staff.
After reviewing the CCTV footage the man was identified and was picked up by police a short distance away.
He was charged with theft, uttering threats, and breaching three court orders. He was held for court in the morning.
