Former premier Tom Marshall discovers new connection with father who landed on Juno Beach on D-Day 80 years ago
As a former premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, Tom Marshall has given countless speeches. But it was an address to a group in Deer Lake recently that uncovered an incredible connection with a man he’d never met before, with a photo connecting both their fathers, who landed on Juno Beach on D-Day.
