It was 44 years ago today Terry Fox first dipped his foot in the Atlantic ocean in St. John’s; kick-starting his ‘Marathon of Hope’ cross-Canada run for cancer research.
Today in Corner Brook, Terry’s brother Fred spoke to students at one intermediate school about his brother’s journey, and the legacy that followed. NTV’s Don Bradshaw has that story.
