Bonavista police confirm drowning Thursday night
A man has died after falling in the water off Trinity last night. Bonavista RCMP confirmed to NTV News that a man fell into the water around 5 p.m. yesterday while fishing for mussels. By the time officers arrived on scene the man have been brought in from the water, and multiple efforts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.
Police say the Office of the Chief Medical examiner is now involved..
