Police responded to what they called a potential weapons offence in the centre of St. John’s.
Multiple RNC vehicles and officers with weapons drawn were seen outside a property on Pennywell Road, near Cashin Avenue.
Patrol officers have since peacefully resolved the event and continue investigating the validity of the report. The area of Pennywell Road is now open to trafic.
