RCMP arrests impaired driver near Bonne Bay Pond
A 47-year-old man was arrested for impaired driving last night.
While on patrol on Route 430 near Bonne Bay Pond, an officer conducted a traffic stop. The driver showed signs of alcohol impairment, failed a roadside breath test and was arrested. He was released from custody and is set to appear in court at a later date to answer to charges of impaired driving. His licence was suspended and the vehicle was seized and impounded.
