Driver Taken Off Roads After More Than Doubling Speed Limit in Mount Pearl

Tuesday, January 27th around 9:30am, RNC pulled over a vehicle that had been observed travelling at excessive speeds on Old Placentia Road in Mount Pearl. Officers determined the vehicle was travelling 103km/h in a 50km/h zone. The 33-year old driver was ticketed, had his license suspended, and his vehicle was impounded.
