Inflation rate increases in October

After months of decline, the inflation rate rose 2.0 percent in October. That’s up from a 1.6 percent increase in September. In October shelter price growth continued to ease and prices for food purchased from stores increased at a faster pace. Prices increased at a faster pace in October compared with September nationally.
