Emily Reglar Clinches Bronze for Team Canada at 2024 K1 Youth League

Karate Newfoundland and Labrador has announced that Emily Reglar has secured a bronze medal at the 2024 K1 Youth League in Cancun, Mexico. Reglar faced competitors from Europe, South America, and North America. She won the bronze medal match against a competitor from Mexico securing a 1:0 victory.

Shanneyganock Hitting the Stage at the Downtown Pedestrian Mall

Shanneyganock will be hitting the stage at the Downtown Pedestrian Mall as part of Music on Water. Shanneyganock will perform on Saturday, August 31, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. near Solomon’s Lane. Summer Games continue today with events in three communities

The Newfoundland and Labrador summer games continue today. There will be events at the ball field in Upper Island Cove, the Wilbur Sparkes Recreation Complex in Bay Roberts, St. Francis Field in Harbour Grace, and the Bay Arena in Bay Roberts. This is day three of the games. The games run until August 17.
