RCMP investigates theft at Hamilton Drugs PharmaChoice

Sunwing to continue service in St. John’s, Gander, and Deer Lake this winter

Sunwing Airlines has announced its 2024-2025 winter schedule. It has added three new sun destinations, including Tulum, Camaguey-Santa Lucia and San Andrés. It also announced that it will continue weekly service to top southern destinations from gateways in Atlantic Canada including St. John’s, Gander, and Deer Lake. These flights start on January 5, 2025.

RNC clock driver travelling 165 km/h on Outer Ring Road

At 10:50 p.m., RNC patrol officers on the Outer Ring Road in St. John’s observed a vehicle travelling 165 km/h via radar. A traffic stop was initiated where the 24-year-old male operator was issued a summary offence ticket for speeding in excess of 51 km/h, a seven day license suspension, and his vehicle was impounded.
