Buchans warning residents of black bear in town

The Town of Buchans is warning residents about a black bear roaming around the lower part of town. Residents are advised to use caution in this area and keep any garbage bags inside. Wildlife officials will be contacted today if the bear remains in the area.

Majority of fuel prices decrease

Most fuel prices are down today, the only exception being propane heating fuel which increased by 0.8 cents. Gas dropped by 3.6 cents per litre.
