Interest rate update coming on Wednesday

On Wednesday, September 6, the Bank of Canada will provide an update on interest rates. At 11:30 a.m. Newfoundland Time the update will be released. As of July 12, the policy interest rate was 5.00 per cent, an increase of 0.25 per cent in June.
