On July 1st, the repatriated remains of an unknown Newfoundland soldier who fought in World War 1 will finally be brought back home. in preparation, the National War Memorial in St. John’s is undergoing an extensive refurbishment for its 100th anniversary.

Tonight we begin a 3-part series on the War Memorial, it’s history, and plans for the July 1st repatriation ceremony.
