There will be water main maintenance taking place today for areas on and near Elizabeth Avenue.

As a result, properties in the area of Burton’s Pond Road from Allandale Road to Russell Road, Elizabeth Avenue from Allandale Road to Rodney Street, and Russell Road from Elizabeth Avenue to Burton’s Pond Road may experience loss of water, low pressure or discoloured water.

Residents who experience discoloured water should run cold water in a sink until it clears. If discoloured water persists, contact the city.

The water shut-off will commence at 9:00 a.m. and should end by 2:00 p.m.
