Carbonear is in the midst of its annual winter carnival, while the weather has forced the cancellation of some events, the snow is a welcome sight.

Corner Brook’s annual winter carnival turns 50 this year.
Well, sort of. The event has been in limbo for the last two years because of the COVID-19 pandemic. But, as NTV’s Don Bradshaw tells us, organizers are preparing to revive the half-century-old event next month.
