The RNC is concerned about the potential increase of dangerous drugs in western Newfoundland following two deaths in as many weeks in the Corner Brook region. Additionally, three other individuals required medical intervention following drug use.

The causes of death have not yet been determined. More information will be made available by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner as it becomes available.

These deaths signal to police the possibility of an increase in the availability of illicit, dangerous, and potentially fatal drugs in our communities.
