It wasn’t your typical Monday night for police in metro.

The RNC responded to a report of a disturbance in the city’s downtown. An intoxicated male had apparently jumped into the rear of a passing convertible vehicle. Police located the vehicle and
arrested a 24-year-old man who now faces charges of causing a disturbance, resisting arrest,
assaulting a peace officer, breach of release order, and breach of probation. The male was
released for a future court date.
