The RNC conducted a traffic stop on Thursday evening on Topsail Road in Paradise.
The officer concluded that the male driver had a suspended driverā€™s license and had owed $8700 in fines.
The 32-year-old driver was issued a ticket for driving while suspended and his vehicle was impounded.
