This morning the Harbour Grace Volunteer Fire Brigade responded to a motor vehicle collision on Thicket Road in Harbour Grace.

The driver had swerved to avoid a collision with a moose and went off the road hitting a tree.

The driver was sent to the Carbonear General Hospital to be treated for what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
