On Monday evening the St. John’s Regional Fire Department and the RNC responded to a residential structure fire in the west end of St. Johns.

At the time of the blaze, the residents were home. All occupants escaped without any injuries.

The residence sustained heavy smoke and water damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, however, it does not appear suspicious in nature.
