A boater who was thrown from their watercraft on Gull Pond near St. Lunaire-Griquet was located deceased Tuesday by the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team (URT).

Shortly before 9:30 p.m. Sunday, police received a call for service reporting that two individuals, a man and a woman who were not wearing life jackets, were in the water after falling off a Seadoo while operating on Gull Pond, which is near St. Lunaire-Griquet.

The woman was able to swim to shore, while the man did not re-surface.
