On Sunday evening, the RNC responded to a report of an assault near the Waterford Hospital in St. John’s.
The 39-year-old male suspect was located and charged with one count of assault.
The accused was released on condition to appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
The victim did not require any medical attention.
