The Liberals have nominated their candidate for the upcoming by-election in Fogo Island-Cape Freels.

Dana Blackmore is the former executive assistant to the late Derrick Bragg, who represented the district until his death in January.

The tories have issued a call for nominations, which are open until noon on Wednesday. The NDP nominations are also open in the district until 5 o’clock on Friday.
