Minister of Industry, Energy and Technology Andrew Parsons has announced $500,000 in funding for the Town of Baie Verte to help support the development of a regional multi-use centre.

The money is allocated through the Regional Development Fund and Community Capacity Building program.

The new centre will support regional economic development and recreational, social and municipal activities.
