Minister of Justice and Public Safety John Haggie will attend Fire and Emergency Services training school today at the Gander Fire and Rescue Training Grounds.
There are approximately 400 volunteer firefighters, along with other municipal and emergency service volunteers and workers, attending the annual training school in Gander.
It runs from May 24 to 30.
The specialized courses being offered include live fire training, vehicle rescue, basic emergency management and incident command systems.
