Fast-moving pack ice to blame for large number of dead seals

It’s common in this province to see dead birds or fish while walking beaches this time of year.

But recently, residents have reported seeing numerous large numbers of dead seals. A research scientist with Fisheries and Oceans it’s the fast-moving pack ice that has led to many of their demise. NTV’s Rosie Mullaley reports.
