A 33-year-old man was stoppedĀ for excessive speeding by police on Monday.
On April 28, police observed a vehicle travellingĀ at speeds up to 164 km/hrĀ in a 100 km/h zoneĀ on theĀ Trans Canada Highway near Hampden Junction.Ā The driverās speed was locked in at 159km/hr. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was ticketed for excessive speeding.Ā HisĀ license was suspended and the vehicle was impounded.
