A dog is safety back with its owner after being rescued in Bay Roberts over the weekend.
On Saturday afternoon the Avalon North Wolverines Search and Rescue, Bay Roberts Fire Rescue, Harbour Grace Volunteer Fire Brigade High Angle Rescue Team, and the RCMP responded to Madrock Hiking Trail after a report that a dog had fallen over a cliff.
A rescue boat was launched and the dog was safely rescued.
