As of Friday several forest access roads in the Happy Valley Goose Bay area will be closed to vehicle traffic until further notice.

The roads are eight kilometres in the Grand Lake Resource Road at the second gate, South Branch Resource Road, Goose River Resource Road, and Groves Point Road.

The closure is due to spring thaw conditions and to prevent damage to the roadbed.
