Increased cases of avian flu in the province have resulted in the death of two swans and several ducks at Bowring Park.

The city of St. John’s has confirmed that both swans at Bowring Park and seven ducks were found dead in the pond.  They’ve been sent away for testing, but it’s suspected they died of avian flu.
