Bombardier representatives were in Gander on Friday morning, where together with the College of the North Atlantic, they highlighted a new partnership to enhance the aircraft maintenance program.

The company has donated a Lear Jet Aircraft, as well as a quantity of parts to help students in their training. The CEO for the college says they would never be able to make such purchases, and it makes a big difference to the quality of programming being provided.

The college boasts high employment rates from the program, and CEO Elizabeth Kidd says that’s good news for the province as well. They’re hoping to form more partnerships in the future.
