A single-vehicle crash that slowed traffic on a busy highway on Tuesday afternoon resulted in no reported serious injuries.
Emergency crews were called to the Outer Ring Road, near the Allandale Road interchange, just after 2:30 p.m.. The driver of a westbound SUV lost control of the vehicle, at which time it went over the guardrail and came to rest down an embankment on the eastbound side of the median. The SUV sustained significant damage. It was unknown at the time exactly how many occupants were in the vehicle, however no serious injuries were reported.
Traffic was slowed in both directions for a time, as crews worked and as the scene was cleared.
