There was little movement in party support numbers in the latest opinion poll from Corporate Research Associates.
Among decided voters, 45 per cent said they would vote Liberal if a provincial election were held today, 38 per cent would vote PC, and 16 would vote NDP. Support for the Tories rose by three percentage points from last fall, but the change was within the poll’s margin of error. The sample for that question included 536 respondents, with a margin of error of +/-4.3 percentage points 19 times out of 20. The poll was conducted by phone Jan. 31-Feb. 24.
The CRA poll has a larger lead for the Liberals compared to recent polls by MQO and Mainstreet Research, both of which had the Liberals and Tories in a statistical tie.
