Team Newfoundland and Labrador has gotten off to a strong start at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts.

The Stacie Curtis rink beat British Columbia 9-5 on Monday to improve to a perfect 4-0 record. Newfoundland and Labrador now sits alone in first place atop Pool B.

The top four teams in each pool advance to the Championship round, which will determine which teams make it to the playoffs. Curtis’ next game is against Team Canada.
