More details are coming to light in a horrendous case of animal cruelty. John Corcoran has pleaded guilty to animal abuse.
In 2015, Corcoran allowed a female pit bull named Diamond to starve to death. The dog’s remains were found inside a suitcase, wrapped in a garbage bag in a home where Corcoran used to live.

The Crown, citing an earlier conviction for animal abuse, wants Corcoran to serve eight months for starving the dog to death.
Corcoran, representing himself, believes house arrest is warranted. The judge has already suggested Corcoran will be going to jail.

Corcoran skipped his first sentence hearing – a warrant was issued and he was arrested. He’s in custody awaiting a new sentencing date which has been set for next week.
