The province’s child and youth advocate spoke Friday out about the situation at Stephenville High School. Students held a silent protest this week after a male student, who is charged with sexually assaulting three female students, had been allowed back in school. Jackie Lake Kavanagh says policies and legislation may need to be changed to allow the English School District to address issues like this. Education Minister Dale Kirby says the Schools Act is under review. NTV’s Micheal Connors reports.
