Tuesday morning around 7:40, RNC officers responded to a report of a possible Break and Enter in progress at a pharmacy in center-city St. John’s. Once on the scene, police stopped a suspect driving away from the area. After an investigation, officers issued the 25-year old driver a 24 hour driving suspension for driving with a blood alcohol concentration greater than .50mg/100ml. The passenger, a 24-year old St. John’s resident was arrested for breach of court orders, mischief in connection with property damage, and possession of a weapon (animal repellant) for a dangerous purpose. He was held for court.
