The RCMP have concluded an investigation into the sudden death of a 49-year-old man in Shearstown and found that the it was not criminal in nature.

Officers with the RCMP’s Major Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Section worked with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to complete the investigation. The RCMP continues to fulfill its mandate to protect public safety, enforce the law, and ensure the delivery of priority policing services in Newfoundland and Labrador.
