There will be a big celebration at the St. John’s Convention Centre Wednesday as the lucky winners of the largest lotto prize ever won in Atlantic Canada collect their $1.9 million cheques.

According to sources, 31 people will split the $60 million payout from Friday’s Lotto Max draw. It’s believed they are workers at the Come by Chance Refinery, and many of them are from the Conception Bay Central region.

Each winner will get just under $2 million.

Atlantic Lottery will present the cheque at the Convention Centre at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
