A small group of Qalipu protesters in St. John’s took their concerns to Confederation Building on Friday morning.

About a dozen protesters gathered at the Landing at Memorial’s University Centre for a smudging ceremony before marching along Prince Phillip Drive to the Confederation Building.

While membership remains a federal issue, the protestesr are looking for support from the premier in their fight to become members of Qalipu First Nation.
